The 2018 Nitto Tire King Of The Hammers Presented By Optima Batteries

Taking place in Johnson Valley, California The King Of The Hammers is an insane off road race consisting of some of the gnarliest terrain this world has to offer; Huge “G-out” whoops, high speed lakebeds, boulders the size of cars, Baja like silt beds, blinding dust, heat/cold, the list goes on. You can start to understand why this is my favorite event of the year. Its in the middle of “nowhere” and once a year a massive temporary city is built on the dry Means Lakebed. A city consisting of massive circus like tents, vendor trailers, racers pits, RV’s stacked on RV’s, Food Vendors, and A massive JumboTron Screen that provides live coverage of the weeks events as well as highlight reels between the action. Some have called it “The burning man for gearheads”. After spending 8 days on the lakebed, here are some of MY favorite shots.
